Many people believe property is one of the safest areas you can invest in. The relentless rise in residential property values has created a great deal of wealth across the UK and prompted many individuals to take up a career in 'Property Development'.

But what about business property? Should you be buying (or even building) your own premises, or taking the more common route of leasing from professional landlords?

Well, of course the answer lies in what your current position is and what your long term plans are.

Business property is much more difficult to value than domestic, for the simple reason that it is heavily influenced by the state of the economy , the rate of growth in your location and the alternative uses that your property could be registered for.
